필자의 경우 pdflatex를 즐겨쓰지만 그냥 latex를 쓰는 연구실 형들과 교수님은 폰트 embeding이 잘 안 될수도 있...

ps2pdf14 -dPDFSETTINGS=/prepress -dEmbedAllFonts=trueps2pdf명령어가 ps2pdf14 로 연결되지 않았으면 위와 같이 직접 명령을 내려주면 해결된다. 필자도 이걸로 해결을 봤다. TeX파일에서 PDF파일을 바로 생성해도 폰트 embedding이 잘 안 될수도 있으니 주의해야 된다. 그런 경우 DVI -> PS -> PDF 의 긴 수순을 밟을 수 밖에.
